The need for a fun way to reinforce state based objectives which address the TAKS test became apparent to me as a certified Reading Specialist. The TAKSkids Schoolhouse Game was developed to meet those objectives.

My teaching experience includes 34 years of teaching students in grades K-6, along with teaching reading strategy courses at the college level. I completed Clinical Practice in a reading lab, and I hold a Masters Degree in education.

I developed this quality game to help students. Each set of question cards is written for a specific grade; therefore, the game boards and game pieces are packaged separately from the cards. There are 120 questions for each grade level as well as 60 jokes. It is my hope that the TAKSkids Schoolhouse Game will provide many hours of fun and enrichment for your students.
