My name is Janice Stahl. I am a certified reading specialist with 34 years teaching experience and certifications in reading, elementary, kindergarten, special education and administration. I saw a need for a product to teach TAKS skills in a fun "hands on" way, so I wrote and published the TAKS Kids Schoolhouse Game for grades 2-5. The game offers differentiated instruction, is aligned with TAKS and has been favorably received by school personnel and parents. These materials are also aligned with standards from other states! TAKS Kids Schoolhouse Game is being used for: The subject related cards have also been used for morning warm ups! Parents are using these products to reinforce skills at home in a fun and engaging way. There are 60 jokes for fun and creative interest. All cards have language arts and math questions. Fourth grade cards have additional writing questions and fifth grade cards present additional science questions.
